PDN/CCP Texas Medicaid THSteps MDCP Title XIX Medicaid 1915(c) home and community based services waiver, State-matching funds CSHCN CSHCN is not insurance and cannot pay for medical care for any condition not covered by the CIDC program. Services may be limited for some conditions and for adults. CSHCN (Children with Special Health Care Needs) does help arrange for medical care and helps pay the medical bills. CSHCN is not the same as Medicaid. Even if a child has Medicaid, he or she may become a CSHCN client as well. |
