For Medicare to pay for your services, you must:
- Be Medicare eligible
- Be homebound
- Be under the care of a licensed physician
- Require services that are reasonable and necessary for treatment of an illness or injury
- Require skilled nursing services on an intermittent basis or physical, occupational or speech therapy services
